Mission Statement

The foundation's mission is simple yet comprehensive:  to invest in people by providing safe, secure, and affordable housing assistance programs, supportive services and educational opportunities for the at-risk, homeless, and special needs population.

Our Programs provides details of Quest for Excellence sponsored programs, including:

Ada's Place - A semi-independent living program for young women between the ages of 16 and 21 who are wards of the courts or who have been recommended by other agencies.  This program focuses on skill acquisition in five areas:  Education, Personal Growth, Vocation, Money Management and Independent Living.

Luise's Love Child Care Center - A state licensed child care center that provides affordable, developmentally- based child care for children 3 to 6 years old, whose parents are either working, going to school or in job training.  The families must be homeless, in transitional housing or at-risk.

John's Delaware Lodge - An affordable, drug-free housing program for individuals and families who have recently completed independent living programming or other rehabilitation programs.

Agnes' Inn Between - A transitional housing program geared toward the family regaining independence and returning to the mainstream of society with confidence.

W.I.N.G.S. - An emergency shelter that provides assistance to victims of domestic violence, featuring furnished, apartment-style living and individual case management.

Billy's Manor - A safe, drug-free, affordable housing program designed to serve individuals and families in transition from homelessness to stable living situations.

Jinny O'Brien Free Clinic - A medical clinic staffed by Gennesaret personnel.  Free health services are offered to participants in any Quest for Excellence Program and from similar programs by referral.

How You Can Help gives information on donating items or funds to Quest for Excellence, as well as volunteer information.

Board of Directors includes the individuals who serve as directors on the Quest for Excellence board.
